Sherwin-Williams® Paint Color - Stamped Concrete (SW 7655)
Stamped Concrete (SW 7655)
Recently there has been a trend to use gray paint colors for a variety of rooms whether they are living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens or bathrooms. Finding the right gray paint color can mean discarding the ones with unwanted color casts. Grays can often look too brown, blue or green. Stamped Concrete (SW 7655) by Sherwin Williams® may be the neutral gray color you desire for your next decorating project. Not found in the large fandeck, Stamped Concrete is from Sherwin-Williams® Cool Neutrals Color Family. Color swatches and sample quarts are available at the stores.
As with most paints this color is available in different types of interior and exterior paint - oil-based, acrylic, acrylic-alkyd (new hybrid type of paint), zero-voc, latex, or enamels and comes in many sheens from flat to high gloss depending on the chosen paint. For this project ProMar® 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex Paint in the eggshell sheen was used.
For this living room the paint color coordinated well with the rich brown tones of the antiques and hardwood flooring. Stamped Concrete provided an elegant neutral gray background framing the artwork and furnishings and also a nice complement to the oriental carpet. Sherwin-Williams® suggests coordinating Stamped Concrete with the colors, Natural Choice (SW 7011) and Torchlight (SW 6374) for interior spaces or Silver Strand (SW 7057) and Bosporus (SW 6503) for exterior applications. Of course there will be many other paint colors that will also coordinate with Stamped Concrete.
Depending on your needs Stamped Concrete could be used in many situations. Try it as a paint color for a bathroom, dining room or bedroom when a neutral gray is wanted. The formula below is the one used for this project, Sherwin-Williams® should recognize it and be able to reproduce the color.
